 "Bit of a wank, this ivory tower stuff."

 "Just because you never went."

 "Never needed to, my son. Anyway, you didn’t either. And bloody art
college doesn’t count. ’S all wank, mate. Trust me, you can do it
yourself."

 "What? Under a tree with a book in Africa?"

 "If you like, yeah."

 "Leave it out-"

 “Bear welcome in your eye, your hand, your tongue: look like the innocent
flower, but be the serpent under it. Chips."

 "Eh?" 

 "Chips. Your turn, and easy on the vinegar!"
